Richard was commissioned to design a dining table and out of this came a family of furniture with distinctive fine edges and faceted profiles which provide stiffness and structural depth where it is required. The form is a direct expression of structure. This logic is used to generate a dining table and chair, stool, bench, desk, single and double beds and so on, all members of the Sinah Furniture family. The first Sinah Table and Chairs will be constructed from oak veneer and white Formica over a plywood fame however the furniture could be made in a number of materials.
